Robert Ray Gillette Jr., died on Saturday, March 3, 2007 in Woodland at the age of 57.
Mr. Gillette was born Aug. 16, 1949 in Alhambra to Robert Ray Gillette Sr and Margaret Kephart. He was a lifelong Yolo County resident. He graduated from Woodland High School in 1967 and served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970. He was employed as an electrician at Wantz Equipment for 12 years.
Survivors include Mr. Gillette's father, Robert Gillette; stepmother, Wilma Gillette, ex-wife, Jayne Gillette, daughters, Dallas and Jacey Gillette, sisters, Manya and husband Don Adams, Susan Gillette, Kelli and husband Jason LeBlanc, Dawn Gillette and husband Anthon Barth, brothers, David and wife Susan Gillette, Fred and wife Joyce Valov and Michael Valov, grandchildren, Kelton and Robert, nieces and nephews, Amy, Aaron, Kimberly, Robert, Ryan, Morgan, Kevin and Kyle. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Kephart and brother, Michael.
Services: A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, March 10 at 2 p.m. at his sister, Dawn Gillette's, home, Highway 16, Woodland. Burial decisions will be made at a later time. Kraft Bros. Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
