Word has been received of the death of Miles M. Vondra of 2044 19th St. on January 22 in Chicago, Illinois at the age of 73. Services and burial were held there.
He was born on May 22, 1898 in Chicago, Illinois to Mr. and Mrs. John Vondra. During World War I, he served with the U.S. Army. Mr. Vondra was the owner of Colorado Land and Investment Co., a local real estate firm.
Survivors include two sons, Miles Jr. of Glenview, Illinois and Donald of Red Lodge, Montana, one sister, Mildred Cervenka of Berlin, Illinois, and 13 grandchildren.

Services for Miles M. Vondra, 74, formerly of Morton Grove, will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Church and Grove Streets, Glenview. Mr. Vondra, who died Saturday in Evanston Hospital, was a used car dealer for 35 years at 3057 N. Cicero Av. before moving to Boulder, Colo., 15 years ago where he owned a land investment company. Survivors include two sons, Miles and Donald; 14 grandchildren; and a sister.
