Obituary:
Mrs. Mary Ellen Vondra, wife of Miles M. Vondra, died this morning at 7 at their home, 833 Spruce. She had been seriously ill for two months.
She and Mr. Vondra moved to Boulder from Glenview, Illinois in May 1951 and he has been in the real estate business as a salesman for the Colorado Land Co. Prior to coming to Boulder, Mr. Vondra had been for 16 years in the automobile business.
She was born in Chicago October 16, 1899 to John and Christine Valle and was married there October 16, 1920 to Mr. Vondra.
Besides the husband, two sons, Miles M. Vondra, Jr. of Glenview, and Donald M. Vondra 3020 14th, Boulder, operator of the Bay Station and bulk plant, survive.
Three brothers, Joseph, John, and Edward Valle live in Chicago as oes a sister, Mrs. Anna Valle Touhy. There are 12 grandchildren.
Since coming to Boulder, Mrs. Vondra had been active in Sacred Heart Church. Rosary services will be at Howe Mortuary Sunday night at 7. Mass will be in Chicago Wednesday morning with burial following in All Saints Cemetery.
