Berry DeHarte Wright, III, of Yakima, died unexpectedly at his home, Thursday, April 15, 2010.

Berry was born December 31, 1978 in Yakima, WA to Berry DeHarte II and Carol Anne (Deccio) Wright. He was raised and educated in Yakima, attending St. Paul Cathedral School and graduating from Davis High School in 1998. Berry received his Bachelors Degree in Economics at the University of Washington, graduating with Honors in 2003. Shortly after graduation he moved to China to teach English as a second language. He stayed two years and returned back to Yakima to begin his Master's in Accounting at Central Washington University. He worked at Yakima Valley School in the accounting department.

Berry was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and Holy Family Catholic Church. He had a kind heart, wonderful sense of humor and especially loved and enjoyed being with his family and many friends. He was an avid reader and enjoyed hiking.

Berry is survived by his parents, Berry II and Carol Wright of Yakima, WA; sisters, Kara Wright of Crescent City, CA, Heather Ray of Issaquah, WA and Jessica (Mike) Perry of Lacey, WA; also two nieces, Raye and Taylor and three nephews, Dakota, Bryce and Landen; grandparents, Alex and Lucille Deccio and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Berry & Helen Wright and an infant sister, Robin Wright.

Viewing will be Tuesday, April 20, 2010, noon until the Vigil service at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home at 6:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial is Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church Chapel. Private family interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Central Washington Comprehensive Mental Health or the favorite charity of the donor, c/o Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home, 1010 W. Yakima Avenue, Yakima, WA 98902.
