Pvt. Albert Adams joined Battery G 2nd Illinois Light Artillery on January 5, 1864. He served with Battery G through the duration of the war being mustered out on September 4, 1865 in Springfield, IL.
Pvt. Adams was originaly buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Chicago, however his body was moved August 20, 1907 to where it rests now in Rochelle, Illinois.
Cause of Death was listed as Heart Failure.
