CHARLES T. CRAIG
Charles T. Craig, 44, well known and highly esteemed Phenix City man died at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Veterans hospital in Atlanta, where he had gone from his home, 802 Eighth avenue in Phenix City for treatment.
Mr. Craig was born in Nashville, Tenn., and had made Phenix City his home since 1914. He was the son of Thomas N. and Annie Burnett Craig, well known Tennessee resident.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Celeste M. Craig, he is survived by three sons, Thomas Nimrod Craig, Charles William Craig, and Douglass Roscoe Craig; two daughters, Miss Patricia Allein Craig and Miss Betty Jean Craig, of Phenix City; two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Turner and Mrs. Minnie Clarke of Columbus; a brother, J. W. Craig of Atlanta, his mother, Mrs. Annie B. Craig of Columbus, and several uncles and aunts.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the church of the Nazarene, Thirty-first street, Rev. L. F. Huff will officiate. Interment will be in Riverdale cemetery.
The following will serve as pallbearers; Active, Wade Walker, E. J. Hubbard, Otis Wilkinson, Mr. Yancey, Frank Hicks. Honorary: Ellis Hart, Mr. Robinson, Newton Brooks and Carl Obanon. per: Lois Goodin Hottinger
