BARNETT, Sean P. Age 43 of Hamilton passed away June 2, 2016 at Mercy South Hospital after batting stage four cancer. In which he smiled and joked and fought the greatest fight ever seen. He went home with his closest friend, his lord and savior Jesus Christ. Now in heaven he is happy with no pain working for the Lord, laying stone and painting. He was born in Hamilton on September 28, 1972 the son of Robert and Ethel Barnett. He married Missy Miller and years later married Tammy Canupp. Sean worked as a stone mason in which he took great pride, was an excellent house painter, and loved catfishing. Sean leaves behind his son Zack Barnett and his daughter Kristin Spradlin who is a great softball player just like her dad Sean which he was one of the city's finest ball players. Two of the greatest fighters are in heaven now Muhammad Ali and Sean ''Rabbit'' Barnett. Sean is survived by his parents, three brothers Bob (Theresa) Barnett, Opie Taylor Barnett, and Scott Davidson; four sisters Arlita (Tyke) Fields, Venita (Ron) Allen, Nancy (Scott) Brown and Hannah Love; nephews Patrick Barnett and Ronnie Allen; nieces Taylor Barnett and his favorite set of twins Sarah and Rebecca Fields; uncles Jack Barnett, Matt Barnett, Jimmy Smith, Skyler Smith, Benton Smith, Lonnie Smith, Donnie Smith, and Frank Smith; aunts Joyce Wilson, Alice Smallwood, Rose Ann Wagers, Loretta Laws, and Gerldine Laws. To a special team of doctors and nurses at Mercy South Hospital a million thanks for the special care and love of Sean. Sean made so many friends where he resided and he considered them family. He would give the shirt off his own back to anyone who asked. Visitation will be Friday June 10, 2016 at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00PM with Rev. Bob Barnett officiating. Burial to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home toward funeral expenses.
