Grady Rich Cameron, 86, of Mount Ida, Arkansas, died Sunday at St. Vincent's Hospital in Hot Springs. He was a native of Ashley County, a resident of Mount Ida for the past 25 years and a retired machine tender at the Georgia Pacific Paper Mill in Crossett.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 17 years, Nina June Cameron; his parents, Ed and Stella Campbell-Cameron; one stepsister, Leona Cameron; and one stepbrother, Clinton Cameron.

He is survived by two daughters, Faye McCracken and Vicki Shirley, both of Crossett; one son, Buddy Cameron of Crossett; two stepsons, Jimmy Tew and James Tew, both of Crossett; three stepdaughters, Jean Caine of Snyder, Jill Tew of Camden, and Sandra White of Crossett; 21 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, at the Cromwell Funeral Home chapel in Hamburg. Rev. Jack Naron and Rev. Billy Williams officiated. Pallbearers were Charlie Smith, Heath Cameron, Scott Smith, Jason Cameron, Mike Shirley and Danny Kennedy. Honorary Pallbearers were Dale Caine, Zach Caine, David DeVault, Danny Lepheiw, and Wendall Reed.

Burial was at Old Troy Cemetery in Drew County under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home, Inc. of Hamburg.
