Frank was born in Bakersfield, California at Kern General Hospital (now Kern Medical Center). His childhood years were spent growing up at the historic Di Giorgio Labor Camp. He often told stories of the friendship and fun times his family had with other families. After he attended Kern High School (BHS) Frank worked as a farm laborer. He went on to work for and retire from the Santa Fe Railroad.
Frank met and married his wife, Eleanor, and together they had seven children. He loved to read and watch sports on TV, as well as his nephew's football games at Arvin High School. He was a believer in formal education, and instilled that belief in his children.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife Eleanor, his parents Rafael and Francisca Soza, son Stephen and siblings Eulalia, Dolores, Celia, Mary, Jose and Louie.
Frank is survived by 6 children, his daughter in law and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Frank's rascally behavior and sense of humor will be greatly missed. We would like to thank the staff at Optimal Hospice and Divine Mercy Guest Homes for the kind attention they gave our Dad.
