MRS U. G. CORNELIUS OF SINKING FORK, DIES
Mrs. Hattie Elvira Cornelius, 76 years old Sinking Fork resident, died at 11:00 p.m. last night at Jennie Stuart Hospital.
The funeral will be held at Keightly Funeral Home of Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the Wood Cemetery near Sinking Fork.

A native of Christian County, Mrs. Cornelius was a member of Sinking Fork Baptist Church. She and her husband, U. G. Cornelius, operated a grocery near Sinking Fork School for many years. She was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Underwood Wood.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include three sisters, Mrs. Avis Hill, Mrs. Helen Miller and Mrs. Fred Sizemore, all of the county; two brothers, Dr. Charles Wood, Auburn, and Larkin Wood, Phoenix. Arizona, and a number of nieces and nephews.
