MRS HELEN MILLER
Services were held at 3 p.m. today for Mrs. Helen Wood Miller, 92, of Route 4. the Rev. Lonnie Walker officiated and burial followed in the Wood Cemetery at Sinking Fork.
Mrs. Miller died at Jennie Stuart Hospital Sunday morning,
She was a member of Second Baptist Church and was a former school teacher.
She was born in Christian County, October 28, 1874, the daughter of the late George H. and Elizabeth Ann Underwood Wood.
She was married to William Lawrence Buie, who died in 1927, and later married to M. A. Miller, who died in 1942.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Amy Wood Sizemore, of the county; one brother, Larkin Wood of Duncan, Arizona, and three great-grandchildren.
