He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas C. Ahrens, Sr. and Anna May McCullough Ahrens. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Wendling Myers.
A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, September 29, 2005, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 500 W. Chestnut Hill Road, Newark, where friends may call from 10-11:45 am. Interment with military honors will follow in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear.
