Son of Michael J Medon and Helen Weisensee Medon of Yonkers, and brother to John Louis Medon. Michasel grew up in Yonkers, and never married. He joined the US Army 1 Oct 1949 and was sent to Fort Dix, then in Jan 1950 to Fort Lewis where he was assigned to 2nd Division, 38th Regimental Combat Team. He departed for Korea early Nov 1950 and was wounded in Action Nov 30 1950. He died of wounds Dec 1950
