Jesse Arnold Akins, Jr. "Zippy" passed away peacefully on April 11, 2016, his 82nd Birthday. Born in Pepperell, AL, Jesse was a resident of Cinnaminson, NJ for the last 43 years. Jesse proudly served his country in the US Army, retiring as Army Sergeant 1st Class after 20 years. Jesse was a retired real estate agent in Cinnaminson, NJ. He was a terrific chef and enjoyed cooking. Beloved husband of 53 years to Rosina “Ina” (nee Pech) and loving father to Michael Akins. Also surviving are many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jesse’s Life Celebration and gathering of family and friends Thursday 10-11 a.m. at Snover/Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North. His Memorial Service will follow 11 a.m. Military Honors will follow after the memorial service.
