Son of Ralph McKenzie and Lee McKenzie (Woods). 15 year employee of Spokane Stainless Productions. Easy-going spirit. Enjoyed hunting. Treated Brenda and her children as if they were his own family.

Tragically died with his fiance Brenda Groene and her son Slade Groene in Mark's own childhood home at Wolf Lodge Bay, Idaho. Brenda's son, Dylan Groene, died a few weeks later in Montana. Brenda's daughter also kidnapped then, Shasta, was miraculously rescued in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, soon after Dylan's death.

The entire property is to be designated a wildlife and nature area, with all structures being removed so it can return to its natural wetlands state. After such tragedy, the natural area is a peaceful and comforting tribute to Mark, Brenda, Slade, and Dylan.
