FROMER, Kenneth Ralph -- Age 60, of Swartz Creek, died May 10, 2016. No formal funeral services will be held. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Friday, May 13 and 9-11 AM Saturday, May 14 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek.

Kenneth was born August 14, 1955 in Toledo OH. He grew up in Beaverton MI. Kenneth was employed at GM for 30 years as a welder and a millwright. He was active in the local music community. He played the trombone with the The Flint Concert Band and The Gaines Community Band. He sang for many years with The New Century Chorale and the Carolyn Mawby Chorale. He also enjoyed playing the guitar. Ken enjoyed reading, he loved the outdoors, and feeding and watching birds. His family called him the "Cat whisperer". Ken loved riding his motorcycles and his bicycle, and was active in riding in his biking groups. He was very creative and talented in building and creating many beautiful things out of wood and metal. He loved boating, kayaking and waterskiing. His biggest passion in life was spending time with his wife, Victoria Ann (Molloseau) Fromer, and his sons. They were married August 14, 1976. For nearly 40 years, they've shared their lives with their 2 sons, Anthony Joseph Fromer, of Webberville, and John Kenneth Fromer of Flint.

In addition to his wife and two sons, Ken is survived by his father Don (Jill) Fromer of New Mexico, mother, Arlene Fromer of Michigan; brothers and sisters, Dan (Nancy) Fromer, Laurie (Jim) Duffy, all of New Mexico, Gary (Vicki) Fromer of Virginia, Cindy (Bruce) Fillmore, Sue Fromer, Flo Wedding all of Michigan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Matt (Sandi) Molloseau of Michigan, Jane (Don) Paulson of North Dakota, Angie (Mike) Jackson, Joey (Al) Coburn, all of Michigan; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Tim Fromer; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Joe and Marge Molloseau.
