Donnie R. Cox, 38, died Saturday at HCA Putnam Community Hospital.
A native of Dublin, Ga., he lived in Putnam County for most of his life. He was employed in Liberty Trucking Ci. in Gainesville and Lake Butler for 10 years as a driver. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Renee Cox, Interlachen; three sons, David L. Cox Sr., Dennis William Cox and Darin Ray cox, all of Interlachen; his parents, Leon and Frances Cox, of Hoschton, Ga.; one brother, Arbra Allen Cox, La Porte, Ind.; five sisters, Alecia K. Cole, Palatka, Lorraine Griffin, Braselton, Ga., Lee Ann Cox and Linda J. Chambers, both of Hoschton, Ga., and Linda Stewart, Archade, Ga.; and one grandchild.
The funeral is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Paran Baptist Church with Pastor W. T. Newsome officiating.
