Oliver T. Livingston, 88, of Palatka, died Sunday, March 31, 1996, at Columbia Putnam Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Palatka. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Palatka and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He had worked more than 30 years as a purchasing agent with Florida Furniture in Palatka.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margaret May Livingston of Palatka; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Harold and Onnolee Livingston of East Palatka and Robert O. and Gail Livingston of Lake Butler; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka with Dr. Robert J. Mills and Rev. Charles T. Rabun Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Palatka Memorial Gardens. The Men's Bible Class of First Baptist Church will serve as honorary Pallbearers. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd 2 Apr 1996.)
