N.B. The spelling of the Reilly/Riley surname was interchangeably used, as to the north side and the south side relatives of the same Irish Chicago family lineage, over the years since the family immigration to the United States in the very early 1900s. Reference the gravestone of May Reilly (née Woolley), with the gravestone identified with a surname of "(RILEY) REILLY" on her memorial #181275332, her husband Michael James Reilly on his memorial #180975360 and his sister Winifred Woolley (née Reilly) on her memorial #162205498. Winifred Woolley's (née Reilly) Irish birth certificate, which I (Bob Stanker) have a certified copy of, reflects her birth/maiden surname as "Reilly", the surname of her father as "Reilly" with her mother's signature (as informant) as "Bridget Reilly" and traces the original "Reilly" surname back to Ireland in the year 1891.

It is most likely that Granny Woolley traveled to the south of Ireland near the Celtic Sea and booked her passage out of Queenstown on the RMS Celtic. Born: April 2, 1891 District of Dunmore, Tuam, County Galway, Ireland (from Irish Birth Certificate). Parents: Patrick Reilly b. Unknown Ireland d. Unknown Ireland and Bridget (née Connell) b. Unknown Ireland d. Unknown Ireland. Siblings: Michael J. Reilly #180975360, Catherine A. Donovan (née Reilly) #162222938, Mary Alice McPartlin (née Reilly) #161512423, James b. Unknown Ireland d. Unknown Ireland, Martin Riley #162207043 and Owen b. Unknown Ireland d. Unknown Ireland. Emigrated September 27, 1912 from Queenstown, Ireland on the RMS Celtic arriving October 5, 1912. Naturalized March 4, 1921. Married Michael Francis Woolley June 25, 1919 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 708 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago, IL.

Brother/sister Michael James Reilly and Winifred Reilly married sister/brother May Woolley and Michael Francis Woolley. For clarity, be careful not to confuse the two Michaels in these two marriages.
