Glenn Eugene Taylor was born November 17, 1925, in Walnut Grove, Missouri, to Albert Oris and Grace (Matherly) Taylor. He married Delah June Barton on January 5, 1944, in Christian County, Missouri. They had four children: Garry Glenn Taylor, Johnny Wayne Taylor, Micheal Eugene Taylor, and Deborah Marie Taylor. Glenn left this family when the children were young. He never supported them in any way (financially or otherwise), never kept in touch with them, was never a part of their lives, and never knew what happened to them when they grew up. He never knew the grandchildren he had from these children. He was a biological father and nothing more.
On October 17, 1956, he married Dorothy Catherine Taylor. They had four children: Donald Taylor, Linda Taylor, Redia Taylor, and Wanda Taylor, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the VFW of Rogers, Arkansas. He was retired from Delp Inc. in Springdale, Arkansas.
Funeral services were held on January 23, 2006, with full military honors at Greenhill Funeral Home.
