He was a son of Lottie Allison of Hamburg and the late Ernest Allison.
A Baptist , he served in the Air Force.
Other survivors include two sons, Brad Allison of Boydell, Ashley County, and Loren Allison of Sherwood, Pulaski County, a daughter Lisa Smith of Clearwater, Florida, two brothers Barney Allison and Kloyce Allison , both of Hamburg, two sisters, Peggy Martin of West Monroe, Louisiana and Lola Hopkins of Pine Bluff and seven grandchildren..
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church at Hamburg with the Rev. E. W. Ricks officiating.
Burial will be in Cleveland Cemetery at Hamburg by Jones Barnett Funeral Home of Hamburg.
