NEARING, Richard A. Of Burton, age 56, died Sunday, February 8, 2015, at McLaren-Flint.
Surviving are wife, Darby, and three children, Tiffany (Don) Amaya, Ricky and Katie (Spencer Miller) Nearing.
He was blessed with four grandsons Donny, Ethan, Aiden and Noah; as well as his fathers, Stephen Patrick Nearing and Gary Stevens; one brother, Jeff (Coleen) Nearing and sister, Debbie (Glen) Roth, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Denise Kauertz Stevens.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2015, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Shanna Hensley officiating. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
