Thelma Adamson, age 58, was born on October 8, 1948 to Pete and Sarah Nickson in Gary, IN who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her ex-husband and father of her children, Andrew Adamson.
She lived in Memphis, TN for a short period, where she joined Pentecostal Evangelist COGIC where Dr. Eld. T. R. Burnett pastored at which time she gave her life to Christ. After a long illness she departed this life on Sunday, October 8, 2006. As a loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend, she will be remembered by her loving children,

She graduated from Roosevelt H.S. in 1966. She was previously employed by Bethlehem Steel and a retiree of Catholic Charities Senior Companion Program. She moved to Michigan in 2002, where she resided for 4 years.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 12, 2006 at Redmond Funeral Home, 4100 South Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, MI 49008 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Cremation will follow the visitation services. Memorial Services will be Saturday at 2:30 P.M. at Faith Temple of Christ, 7601 Whitcomb St., Merrillville, IN 46410. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings can be sent to Nickson Family via Allegius Credit Union.
