Hardy Lane Field, Jr., 85, of Richardson, Texas, passed away April 23, 2016. He was born in Houston, Texas on July 28, 1930 to Hardy and Bernadine Field. He was married to Loretta A. Field for 13 years.

They married 18 June 1966 & divorced 3 November 1978

Hardy had a career in computer engineering for Texas Instruments. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and had a passion for tinkering with broken stuff; Hardy had a true love for making dead machines live again once more.

He was preceded in death by his parents, ex-wife, and his sister, Alice Louise Perry.

Hardy is survived by his children, Elizabeth Hollis and Patrick Field; sister, Julia Myers; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Hardy's Celebration of Life will begin at 10:00 a.m. with interment to immediately follow at Forest Park East Funeral Home.
