Betty J. (Skym) Weber, 65, of Geneva Township, died at her residence on Sunday, July 2, 2006.
The daughter of Melissa Skym and the late Eugene C. Skym was born on Jan. 21, 1941, in Midland, where she was raised and educated. On July 5, 1986, she married John Weber in Midland. Betty was a homemaker and enjoyed flowers and creating flower beds. She was an avid collector of knick knacks.
Betty is survived by her mother, Melissa Skym; her husband John Weber; son Eugene (Cindy) Spencer of Coleman; and daughter Ann Spencer of Coleman. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Tara Ackerman of Beaverton; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren and expecting the fourth; stepchildren, Doug (Becky) Weber of Sanford, Ronda Weber of Sanford, Connie Service of Midland and Cheryl (Scott) Diffin of Sanford; and brothers and sisters, Frank (Waity) Skym, James (Caroline) Skym, Larry Skym, Bob (Carol) Skym, Tom Skym, Patsy (Rod) Leger and Ellen (Wayne) Couturier. She was predeceased by her father; and sons Darwin and Ivan Spencer.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2006, from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be offered to the MidMichigan Hospice or to St. Jude's Hospital. Personal messages of support may be left for the family at www.wilson-miller.com.
