Betty Marie Pierson, age 79, of Fulton, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on January 24, 1937 in Mexico, Missouri , the daughter of the late Alfred Dinwiddie and the late Annabelle (Travis) Dinwiddie.
Prior to retirement, Betty worked in housekeeping at Fulton State Hospital. She enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by sons, Bruce David (Debbie) of St. Charles, Missouri and Darrell Giboney of Fulton, Missouri; daughter, Tina Giboney of Fulton, Missouri; sister, Stella David of Fulton, Missouri; grandchildren, Mary Jo Carr of Mexico, Missouri, Robert Giboney of St. Louis, Missouri, Andrew Key of Kingdom City, Missouri and Watasha David of St. Charles, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Joe Pierson; son, Roger Giboney; daughters, Susan Kay Giboney, and Brenda David; brother, Sonny Dinwiddie; and sisters, Ruby and Lilly Smith.
Memorial services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at New Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.
