Alexander, Mr. Reuben Elemuel, age 57, of Adamsville, Ala, passed away Thursday a.m. at a local hospital. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Ora Alexander, two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Boone of Fayetteville, Tenn, and Mrs. Barbara Wiginton of Birmingham; one son, Neil Alexander of Birmingham; three brothers, Leonard Alexander of Birmingham, Henry Alexander of Jasper and Lenford Alexander of Nauvoo; four sisters, Mrs. Eula Cagle of Brilliant, Ala, Mrs. Leona Harris of West Port, Ind; Mrs. Berthie Nix of Lynn, Ala; and Mrs. Trannie Abbott of Nauvoo, Ala. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. at the Union Grove Baptist Church (near Double Springs, Ala) Interment, adjoining cemetery. Rev. Ralph Jernigan and Rev. Zack Appleton officiating. Remains to lie in state at the church from 1 p.m. until time of services. Brown-Service Norwood directing.
