Flossie L. Summerville Snyder, 90, of Curtisville, West Deer, died Tuesday (Jan. 20, 2004) in Highland Center, Genesis HealthCare, Brackenridge.

Born Nov. 30, 1913, in Rimersburg, she lived in Curtisville since 1952.

Mrs. Snyder was a member of Deer Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene, Curtisville.

She enjoyed cooking.

Survivors include a son, Stanley Snyder of West Deer; a daughter, Shirley J. Lindeman of West Deer; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, June Bowser of Rimersburg and Leona Rhodes of Zelienople.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry J. Snyder, in 1988; two sons, Harry J. Snyder Jr. and Donald R. Snyder; her parents, Joseph and Maude King Summerville; two brothers, Richard and Joseph Summerville; and a sister, Della Bookwalter.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Richard E. Wise will officiate. Burial will be in Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Dorseyville, Indiana Township.
