Edna Farris Odom, age 86 of Palatka, Fl died May 19 at Palatka County Center after an extended illness. She was a native of LaFollette and had been a resident of Palatka for 47 years. She was an educator, having taught school for more than 30 years. She was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church in Palatka.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Verlin and Effie Farris; brothers, Verlin Farris, Jr. and Leon Farris; sisters, Hortense Farris, Nora Lindsay and Wanda Jones; two infant sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William M. Odom; son, Bill Odom and daughter-in-law, Sandra Odom of Palatka; sister, Loraine Farris of LaFollette; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services were May 22. Interment was in Palatka Memorial Garden.
