Robert Loren Gross, age 65 passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Robert was born the son of Raymond Lawrence and Marjorie (Bower) Gross on March 2, 1951 in Plymouth, Indiana. Robert graduated with the Plymouth High School Class of 1969. He also graduated from Purdue University, and was Alpha Gamma Rho. He farmed the Gross Dairy Farm and enjoyed working at the golf course in maintenance. Robert was a member of the Saint Michael Catholic Church in Plymouth, Indiana.
Robert is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Donald W. and Connie Gross of Plymouth; his dear friend, Janet Moose of LaPaz; also surviving are several cousins as well as, nephew, Matthew and Meghan Gross; great nieces, Georgia and Violet; and his uncle and aunt, Roger and Jane Bower of Warsaw. Robert is preceded in passing by his parents.
The Van Gilder Funeral Home is assisting the Gross family with the arrangements. A funeral service for Robert will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth, Indiana 46563 with Fr. John Korcsmar officiating. Burial will follow the service in the New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth, Indiana.
A time of visiting with the Robert's family will also be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in the Van Gilder Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The Gross family has requested memorial contribution's in Robert's name be given to the Donor's Choice.
