Charles was preceded in death by parents, Charles Herman and Lois Thelma Bell.
Charles is survived by wife, two children, brother, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives.
Charles was a long time member of both Candler Park and Centerville Baptist Church. A loving son, husband and father, Charles worked as a law enforcement officer for the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office for 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and motorcycle riding.
Viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 between the hours of 2-4 pm and again from 6-8 pm at Tom M. Wages Snellville Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11 am with the burial to follow at Mount Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery, 561 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Mableton, GA.
