Obituary for Stanley Boyd Hendricks
The Lord has called another one of his U.S. Marines home at the young age of 55 years, 9 days.
LUKE 24:4-6 “And it happened as they were greatly perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood before them in shining garments. Then, as they were afraid, and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen!”
Boyd proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1978-1981, when he was honorably discharged as a Lance Corporal. “Hoora” He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on June 2, 2015. Thank you Lord for this soldier!
Boyd or Stanley, however you knew him, was born to Robert Lee and Mandy Pandora Hendricks on May 23, 1960, who preceded him in death, along with a brother Bobby Lee, and a sister Sally Kay Dudley.
Survivors include: brother Mark and Michelle Hendricks, brother Billy and Hilarie Hendricks, sister Joyce and Mark Diener, sister Myra Hendricks and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with the survivors are Boyd’s best friend Andy Apodaca, and “Grumpy” his yellow lab.
He will be greatly missed, but have no doubt in your mind he was saved, and the moment he closed his eyes, there in his Santa Fe home, he opened them in the presence of our creator God Almighty.
2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”

Services were under the direction of Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home and Crematory.
