Kelly “Buck” Mercer, 57, of Beaverton, Michigan passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan.
He was born in Clare, Michigan on August 15, 1958, the son of James & Shirley (Ostrowsky) Mercer. He was a lifetime resident of Gladwin County and he was a member of the Chevelle Club.
He was a very proud and beloved member of the Beaverton High School Class of 1976.
He was employed as a Plant Manager for Elmer’s Concrete in Beaverton. His memory will be forever cherished by his 2 sons: Jordan (Katie) Mercer of Beaverton; Joshua Mercer and friend Morgan Baldwin of Saginaw; his beautiful granddaughter: Mackenzie Mercer; parents: James & Shirley Mercer of Beaverton. He is also survived by his brothers: Dan (Jean) Mercer of Gladwin; Layne (Nikki) Mercer of Beaverton; sister: Toni (Ted) Thayer also of Beaverton; several nieces & nephews.
He is preceded in death by his nephew: Kristopher Mercer.
Funeral Services will be conducted by Elizabeth Long on Friday, April 15, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 14, 2016 from 3-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
He will be laid to rest at Tobacco Twp. (Dale) Cemetery, Beaverton, Michigan.
