Annabelle M. Adams, 88, of Granite City, passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016, at Granite Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Granite City.Annabelle was born on May 31, 1927, in Madisonville, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Charley and Lorene (Fugate) Moore. Annabelle was a lifelong homemaker. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Granite City and in her free time she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Annabelle will be remembered for her giving heart and all the special times she shared with her family and friends.She is survived by and will be missed by her children, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, In addition to her parents, Annabelle was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ralph Adams; her son, Don A. Adams; grandson, Timothy Adams; brothers, Jim Moore, Otis Onan; sisters, Pearline Brisbin, Valene Moore.Friends may call on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City. In celebration of her life, services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Michael Adams officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
