Ature A. Desmarais, 16-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Desmarais, died last Friday night at his home on the Conway road after an illness of several months. Besides his parents, he leaves five sisters, Mrs. William Grenia [sic] of Springfield, Mrs. Charles Miller, Mrs. Charles Farmer and Bertha Desmarais of Greenfield, and Beatrice of this place, and two brothers, Wilfrid of Chicopee, and Prosper of Springfield. The funeral was held in St. John's church last Monday morning. Burial was in the Arms cemetery.

Ature Albert Desmarais, 16, son of John andMederise (Grigoire) Desmarais, died at his parents' home on Conway road Friday of last week after an illness of nearly a year. His death occurred on his 16th birthday. He had worked in the Goodell Tool Co., until obliged to give up work on account of ill health and was well liked as a faithful employee. Besides his parents he leaves seven brothers and sisters. The funeral was held from St. Joseph's church Monday morning at 8 o'clock. Burial in Arms cemetery.
