PROVIDENCE - Mrs. Laura G. Silverman, 67, of 13 Hamilton St., died yesterday in St. Joseph's Hospital after being stricken at home Sunday. She was the widow of Jack Silverman.

Born in Providence, Oct. 18, 1908, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary J. (Demmarres) McLeod, she was a lifelong city resident.

Mrs. Silverman had been a jewelry worker and before retiring two years ago had been an employee of the Romay Jewelry Co. for five years.

She is survived by two sons; Gerald LeClaire and Douglas F. Silverman, both of Providence, and two grandchildren.

A private funeral will be held Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home of M.H. Comstock & Sons, 572 Elmwood Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Michael's Church, Oxford Street. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
