Zyiah Monique Adams, 4 years old, of South Bend, Indiana passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Riley Childrens Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Zyiah was born in South Bend, Indiana, on September 26, 2011 to Denise L. (Adams) Gunn and Lorenzo R. Williams.
Zyiah is survived by her parents and eight siblings, DaVonte J. Gunn, Wyomie R. Gunn, JaVonn T. Gunn, TreVion J. Gunn, DeShawn C. Adams, TyShawn V. Gunn, Amare M. Williams and Rayzo W. Williams; twin sister, Zhariah Adams; maternal grandparents, John (Carlotta) of Michigan City, Indiana; paternal grandmother, Jacqueline Williams of Chicago, Illinois; and paternal grandfather, Steve Smith of Chicago, Illinois.
Other surviving family members include aunts, Gloria (Lawrence) Jones of Texas and Linda Moore and Anesha Eddins of South Bend; uncles, Jessie Leroy (Mary Scales) Jones, Jerome Tony (Sherry) Williams, Kenny Jones and Malik Jones all of South Bend and Tremayne Williams of Chicago; nieces; Serenity Gunn, ZaNilya Gunn and TreVionna Gunn; and one nephew, Troy Gunn.
Zyiah was preceded in death by a maternal great grandfather, Jesse Jones; a maternal grandmother, Wyomie Jones; an aunt, Queen Washington; and one uncle, Troy Jones.
Funeral Services for Zyiah Monique Adams will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday April 4, 2016. at Palmer Funeral Home-West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend, IN 46628. The family will receive relatives and friends for one hour prior to services. Cremation will follow the services at Southlawn Cremation Services in South Bend.
