1. George Crittenden Bittick (born April 9 1826, AR). Married Mary Ann Samford in Shelby County In 1848. He served in the Mexican War scouting the border near present Fort Worth. In October 1864. He was accidentally killed in military service near Uvalde. Mary Ann moved her family back to Shelby County where she died in 1908.

2. Joseph Butler Langley Bittick (born June 29. 1828 AR). a private in the Mexican War went to California in 1849 with the Isaac H. Duval party. He was a miner and a farmer. He died in 1905 in the Arizona home of his first son, Albert Crittenden.

3. Elizabeth Bittick (born June 24, 1830 TX) married Thomas Hopkins Wolf in Panola County in 1847. Died there in 1852. "Hop" took their sons to Darnel County in 1853 where he remarried.

4. Jonathan Albert Bittick (born Jan, 1, 1835, TX) married twice. He served in a frontier company in Burnet County during the Civil War. He was a Methodist minister in Leander (Williamson County) died in 1906.

5. Henry William Conway Bittick (born Nov. 25. 1837, TX) was a stock raiser and farmer, He served in the Civil War and was a prisoner in New Orleans. He married in 1856, Isabella Dunlop by whom he had one daughter, Araminta "Millie." After Isabella's death in 1892 he married Mrs. Belle (Burlison) Ferguson. Henry A Mason died May 26, 1911, in Short (Shelby).

6. Jasper Newton Bittick (born Jan. 24, 1843, TX) married first Sarah J. McKenzie and second Eliza Ann Brown. A farmer, he also served the Confederacy. He died in Taylor County in 1912.

7. Mary Catherine Bittick (born Sept. 3, 1845, TX) married William W. Mauldin a rancher. She died in Mills County in 1927.

8. Dixon W. Bittick (born March 1, 1848, TX) registered hit B I T brand in Williamson County in 1860. He married Annis Arbuckle in 1869. They ranched in San Saba. Dixon died in 1902 in San Jacinto.
