Grandpa Lesovsky was born and raised in Humpolec, Bohemia, Czechoslovakia. He immigrated to the United States about 1888 per the 1910 US Census. He married Mary Shipek in 1888 and to this union were born seven children: twins who were born and died at birth in 1889; four sons, and one daughter. He was preceded in death by the twins and one son, Edward, who died in the flu epidemic in 1918. He was survived by a brother, Emil Lesovsky, of Republic County. He was survived by his wife, Mary, and sons William, Elmer and Frank, and daughter, Mrs. Louis J (Emma) Svach. He was also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
