Bonnie G. Smith, 83 years of Mt. Orab, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016, at the Crestwood Care Center.
She was born in Northfork, WV on January 11, 1933, the daughter of the late John Samuel Andrew and Gladys Gertrude Gladys Preston. Besides her parents, she was also preceded by her first husband Bill Stone, whom she married on November 25, 1952, one daughter; unknown, one son; Don Stone, two sisters; Gladys Loraine Griffin, Norma Louise Griffin, and one brother; Harold Griffin.
Bonnie was a member of the Hillsboro Church of God and retired from Honeywell. Bonnie enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, cooking, fishing, hunting and was a wonderful wife.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Charles B. "Chuck" Smith, were united in marriage on September 29, 1959, one daughter; Ellen Emerson Stone, one son; Ron Stone, five brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law; Harry Smith of Portsmouth, OH, Paul Smith of Wilmington, OH, Dwayne Smith of Rarden, OH, Gary (Karin) Smith of Utah and Shirley Syroney of Portsmouth, OH and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at the Hillsboro Church of God, 5760 US Hwy 62 S, Hillsboro, OH 45133. Burial will follow at the Locust Grove Cemetery in Peebles, OH.
Friends may call at 12:00 P.M. until the time of services on Tuesday at the Hillsboro Church of God.
