GEORGE A. CANALE JR., 45, of Marietta, Ga., formerly of Memphis, regional manager for Allstate Insurance Co. in Atlanta, where he worked 22 years, died of a heart attack Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital in Atlanta. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. tomorrow at The Cathedral Of The Immaculate Conception with burial in Calvary. Swift Treadwell & Canale Funeral Directors has charge. Mr. Canale was a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and was an All-American, All-State, All-Memphis and All-Southern-Prep football player. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Patricia Palmer Canale; two daughters, Miss Caryn Canale and Miss Allyson Canale, and a son, George A. Canale IV, all of Marietta; his father, George A. Canale of Memphis; a sister, Mrs. Mary Arnette Michael of Manassas, Va., and five brothers, Frank Canale of Nashville, and Whit Canale, Justin Canale, Billy Canale, and Tom Canale, all of Memphis.
