She was disinterred from the Peacock Cemetery which was once a private family cemetery, on May 7, 1894 and interred beside Col William Peacock to Oakwood City Cemetery in Scott's Free Ground. On her wolf box style grave, the ledger spells her middle name as Catharine.

Inscription
This marble marks the loss of an ? bereaved husband and an affectionate mother, death cannot separate; disease crushing in it's poor ? had long time afflicted ? ? from which the scenes of playmate and childhood, from the house of her friends she departed; She went with hope of Heaven: seeking rest in the Savior and died amid the prayers and tears of pious hearts; Herself hopeful.
Hope smiling, rests upon her tomb.
