Aubrey Eugene Nelson., 81 of Tarpon Springs (formally Pensacola), passed away Wednesday, February 24th, 2016, at Brookside Hospice.

He was preceded in death by his wife Clara Virginia Shelby Nelson. He is survived by his four children Vicki (Robert) Brady, Theresa Nelson, Aubrey (Laura) Nelson Jr., and Donna Lewis. Grandchildren Shelby (Brian) Gallagher, Austin Nelson, Amanda Lewis, Travis (Taylor) Lewis, Virginia Nelson, Sarah Nelson; Great-grandchildren Claire, Mason, and Owen. Survived by a sister Carolyn Wilson, sisters-in-law Evelyn Fannin and Linda (Roger) Chinn, and Brother-in-law Philip (Bear) Pangburn and several nieces and nephews.

He was a retired Air Force veteran, member of West Pensacola Lodge # 296 F&AM and a member of New Port Richey Chapter #117 O.E.S.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 1st, with visitation at 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m., at Charles E. Davis Funeral Home at 3075 S. Florida Ave. Inverness, Fl. Interment will follow at Bushnell National Cemetery at 1 p.m. with military honors. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Suncoast Hospice.
