Barbara Ellen Adams, daughter of the late Ed and Esta Collins Sexton was born January 4, 1932 in Whitesburg, Kentucky. She entered eternal life Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky being 84 years, 1 month and 21 days of age at the time of her passing.
Barbara was married to Billy Wayne Adams who preceded her in death in 1985. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and agreat friend to all that knew her.
She is survived by a daughter; Debra (James) Russell of North Carolina. One sister, Tish Collins of Sandlick, Kentucky. Five brothers; Bruce Sexton of Sandlick, Kentucky, Buddy Sexton of Sandlick, Kentucky, Albert Sexton of Sandlick, Kentucky, Jackie Sexton of Isom, Kentucky and Marvin Sexton of Louisville, Kentucky. Four grandchildren; Michelle Sandlin, Shasta Rose, Nicole Datson and Valerie Dicks. Eight great grandchildren; Ronica, Corey, Abigail, Shelby, Briana, Baleigh, Matthew and Mason.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Adams. One brother, Bennett Sexton. Four sisters; Violet Benton, Josie Collins, Hazel Sexton and Susie Edie Sexton. Officiated By
