Gene Lindsey was an American film and television actor. He was born in Beaumont, Texas on October 26th, 1936. He is known for his roles in "All the President's Men" (1976), the daytime serials "Dark Shadows" (1966) and "The Doctors" (1963). Additionally, he had small roles in the films "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" (1964) and "Cotton Comes to Harlem" (1970). His final acting role was in the TV movie, "Drop Out Father", in 1982. In the horror genre, Lindsey is best known for playing the role of uptight lawyer Randall Drew on episodes of the original Gothic soap opera "Dark Shadows". He first appeared in episode 1143 in 1970. He made five appearances on the series in total. Gene Lindsey passed away on April 1st, 1988 at the age of fifty-one.
