Veronica Curtis was my very best friend in Kindergarden. She had come to our school after school had already started, so she was the new girl. We were instantly friends. Every day after school, her mother would pick us up and we would spend the afternoons doing all kinds of interesting things.

Her mother adored her. Veronica could twist her mother around her little finger. And, boy, she was sassy.

Veronica was killed in the summer of '71 by a hit and run driver. Her injuries were severe and she couldn't be saved.

NOTE:
To everyone who has left notes and flowers for my dear friend Veronica, I so appreciate it. Thank you. Just a note, I have noticed that some notes say May The Lord watch over your mommy in so many words. Fortunately, Veronica's mother is being watched over by the Lord. But, not here on earth. Veronica's devoted, wonderful, mommy passed away in 1978. And her devoted, wonderful father passed on in 1989.

I will be adding their memorials as soons as I have all the information.

Also, Thank you to The Bull for the pictures from the cemetery. I can never thank you enough.

Thank you to Always Remembered~Susan A From MA For Making The Photos I had More Beautiful.

Also, Thank you to Rhonda Kirkpatrick-Harrison for sponsoring Veronica's Memorial. That was a very thoughtful thing for you to do. I really appreciate it.
