Carl Otis Martin of Lexington was born on July 16, 1935 in Corning, Arkansas to Charles & Agnes Forbes Martin. He died on February 23, 2016. He proudly served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beverly R. Martin. He is also survived by his three children, Chuck (Wendy) Martin, Sherri (Kelvin) Poole Scott Martin, as well as 10 grandchildren: Amber Waldroup, Blake Martin, Courtney Patton, Benjamin Langley, Ryan Martin, Brandi Haley, Shanna O'Donnell, Jamie Poole, Matthew Martin, Andy Martin; & 10 great-great children. Mr. Martin also leaves behind several half-brothers & sisters, including Louise Bellew, plus numerous nieces & nephews. Visitation will be Thursday February 25 from 5-7pm at Lord & Stephens East. Funeral services will also be held at Lord & Stephens East on Friday February 26 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Restoration Apostolic Church Building Fund, 220 Smithonia Rd, Winterville GA 30683.
