Sancha Griffith Lance Sancha Griffith Lance, 73, passed away October 11, at, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born to the late Arthur Dee and Margaret (Bobby) Griffith, September 21, 1938, in Mid West City, Wyoming. Sancha graduated as valedictorian from Midwest City High School in 1956 and received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Oklahoma State University in 1960. After graduating she worked for Shell Oil Company in Houston, Texas. She married the love of her life, Charles Lance, in 1966, and they began raising their family in Seville, Ohio. Sancha was a person who built her life around other people. She always put her family and friends before herself. She spent countless hours taking care of others. She enjoyed volunteering at Meadowview Care Center and her children's schools. In addition, she was a member of several organizations including, Pi Beta Phi Sorority, Seville Chamber of Commerce, Seville Village Parks Board, Seville Historical Society, Run for the Trails Committee, Seville Easter Egg Hunt Committee. Sancha is survived by her husband, Chuck; four children, Jenny Lance Clute, of Liberty Twp., Ohio, Kevin Lance, of Driggs, Idaho, jack Lance, of Fort Worth, Texas, Jerry Lance, of Middleburg Heights, Ohio. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Gracie Clute, Harrison Clute, Maximus Clute, Zane Lance-Hardman, Zachary Lance, Delilah Lance, Colton Lance, Brennan Lance and Brett Lance. One great-grandchild, Javier. As well as her brother, Dee Griffith; and sister, Leslie Beers, and many dear friends. Services will be held Saturday Oct. 15, 2011 at 12;00 Noon from the Armstrong Funeral Home, St. Rt. #3, Seville, Ohio. Family will receive friends Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Chaplin Bob Grover will officiate.
