IN LOVING MEMORY OF KARL KRAGH
Kenneth Karl Kragh, son of Cecil and Bessie Wolf Kragh, was born June 24, 1926 near Sherman, Major County, Oklahoma. Karl departed his life on Monday, April 11, 2005 at the Bartlesville Care Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years.
Karl was only 6 weeks old when his mother died. His uncle and aunt, Lawrence and Cora Kragh, raised him in their home at Chester, Oklahoma. Karl attended the Chester School through the 8th grand then transferred to Seiling High School. Following high school graduation, Karl entered the United States Army and served his country during World War II. Karl received an honorable discharge and he returned to Oklahoma.
Karl married Stell Ann Holford by John W. Pigg, pastor of the Church of Christ at Madill, Oklahoma on May 9, 1952 with Barbara Helen Mahan of Shawnee, Olkahoma as maid of honor and Cecil Lee Kargh of Chester, Oklahoma as best man. Karl and Stell were divorced. They didn't have any children.
Karl was united in marriage to Ramona Lee Converse, June 22, 1958 at Mutual, Oklahoma. They made their first home in Oklahoma City where Karl worked for OG&E. In 1963, they moved to Mutual where they have made their home since. He worked as a contract electrician and he also farmed. He was a member of the Mutual Methodist Church, the Woodward Elks Lodge #1355 and the Woodward American Legion Post #19. Karl was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching OSU Cowboy athletics and he also enjoyed rodeos, as well as, hunting and fishing. He liked playing pitch and dominos but his greatest enjoymen was watching his grandson Brent play T-ball.
He is survived by his wife Ramona Kragh of Mutual, Oklahoma his daughter; Karla Cunningham and her husband Vince of Bartleville, Oklahoma and grandson; Brent Cunningham. He is also survived by his foster brother; John Smith of Clinton, Oklahoma, his half sister; Sharon Criswell and husband Bobby of Harker Heights, Texas and 2 half brothers; Lee Kragh and wife Dorothy of Waynoka, Oklahoma and Jimmy Kragh and wife Gwen of Norman, Oklahoma. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. He was preceded by his parents and his aunt and uncle who raised him.
