on April 19, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Jesse is reunited in heaven with his parents Miguel and Petra Martinez, daughter Maria, and sisters Eva and Isabel. Jesse's legacy will live on in the hearts of his wife of 35 years Hortencia, children Jesse (Suzanne), Richard (Cheryl), Barbara (Adam), Joann (Simon), Susie, Corina, Vanessa and Veronica (Martin), brother Daniel (Bertha) 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, plus numerous other friends and family. He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran, and member of the Knights of Columbus.Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Castillo Mission Funeral Home from 1pm to 9pm with a Rosary to be recited at 7pm. Friday, January 29, 2016 a procession will depart the funeral home at 9:30am for a 10am Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Catholic Church with Burial to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
